Administrative Ministries
|
Administrative Ministries encompass four areas through which our administrative, facility, and volunteer staffs support our church in achieving its vision to“Love God, Love People and Serve Others Together.”
Stewardship Education
Our pastor, church staff, finance committee, and church council strive to help our people understand that every decision we make is a stewardship decision, because everything belongs to God. Through sermons, newsletter articles, Bible study lessons, and Discovering Spiritual Maturity (CLASS 201), we teach Christians how to make wise Biblical stewardship decisions in their lives.

Church Support Services
The tasks that take place in the church office impact all ministry areas. Whether it is keeping attendance records, publishing the weekly bulletin or monthly newsletter, ordering resources, providing administrative support to the pastoral staff, or any of a myriad of other tasks, the work of the office staff and volunteers is never done.
Efficient office administration allows those ministry areas to function in the best manner possible. Office hours are 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday.
Administration of Church Finances
We do all we can to maintain the highest levels of integrity with the resources God gives us through tithes and offerings. The daily work is accomplished by our accounting department and by volunteer money counters. Examples of steps we’ve taken include establishing policies for secure handling and counting of weekly offerings, providing donors with annual giving statements, preparing an annual budget that is adopted by our membership, and conducting an outside audit to review our records and controls. The church council reviews financial reports monthly.
Your contributions fund the ministry initiatives of our church, which affect the lives of thousands of people. Through your faithfulness, you assist us in accomplishing the five purposes of the church (worship, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and evangelism).

Administration of Church Properties
God has blessed our church with wonderful facilities that allow for a full range of ministry activity. We desire to use and maintain our buildings in a way that glorifies God. This includes regular maintenance in addition to weekly and daily housekeeping. Our maintenance staff and volunteers serve our congregation through meeting these needs.
To avoid schedule conflicts and encourage good stewardship of resources, use of our buildings and grounds by any group, church or community, requires advance approval by the church staff.
